Just a quick little review!
I picked up yet another pink lipstick, this time from the new Mineralize Rich line and so far I'm enjoying it! This one is in dreaminess (soft cool pink cream according to MAC) and it's creamy and moisturizing like the Sheen Supreme lipsticks but not as glossy! Also, I have to reapply this more often than the sheen supreme but that's ok! This color is darker and not quite as opaque as Royal Azalea (sheen supreme) and probably a little more wearable in that it's not as intense!
I only have my iphone for pics for the time being (sorry) this pic is taken in natural light without flash

MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick: Royal Azalea
(So, I haven't exactly blogged in a while and I don't even know if anybody will read this lol but here it goes!)
I am really impressed with the Sheen Supreme Formula from MAC. I'm a lipstick junkie and MAC is probably my favorite place to hoard lipstick from :) Lately I'm on a huge pink kick and seem to be buying only pink or nude based lipsticks so I tried this blue based pink on in store and loved it! It's very moisturizing and creamy (like it claims to be) but it wears surprisingly well and even leaves a subtle tint on your lips after its worn off without actually staining the lips if that makes sense! MAC describes the Sheen supreme line by the following:
"combining the color impact of a lipstick with the shine sheen of a lipglass, Sheen Supreme creates the perfect hybrid with no compromise. Lightweight, non-sticky, slick to apply, and comfortable to wear"
I have to agree with their claim! It has the classic MAC/vanilla scent which I love!

Benefit/Too Faced
Needed a new mascara my Diorshow was running low (and drying out) so I decided to try Too Faced Lash Injection, of course I just couldn't pick up one thing so I ended up getting Benefit's Coralista Boxed Blush which has been catching my eye for quite some time now!
Too Faced Lash Injection:
Great mascara. Smells strangly good...hard to describe, gives really good volume and okay length but you have to apply several coats for it to do its magic. I wonder if i used a primer with this if it would work better? hmmm. One good thing is that no matter how many strokes or coats you apply it never clumps! You can work it in until your lashes are plump yet seperated! My lashes feel really soft and healthy with it on too...this product does not make them feel hard and brittle like alot of mascaras tend to do. Don't know yet if it gets flaky..I'll have to test it some more! Overall I like it, I'm gonna keep using it for now...I give this product 4 out of 5 stars!
Benefit Coralista:
Gorgeous. Enough said...okay I'll talk more haha. This blush is absolutely gorgeous. It is crazy pigmented and you need the smallest amount on your brush...I wasn't expecting it to be so pigmented so in the pics below it might look like I'm wearing too much..I'll know for next time! It's a pinkish coral with subtle shimmer...not too chunky..just right! it reminds me of Nars Orgasm a little except Orgasm has a bit more peach and more of a golden shimmer to it. And this is odd but I actually like the little brush that comes with it!! Anyway...this was a little expensive....($35.00) but I have a feeling it will last a long time! I give this blush 5 out of 5 stars!!

skin care/new foundation routine ramble
Skin Care
I started getting mild acne in university and I never really found anything that cleared up my skin without drying it out...I tend to break out in my T-Zone...and get oily mid-day no matter what. I tried proactive which was okay...but it really didn't make my skin feel healthy. I tried Clinique 3-step which is not for acne prone skin...could possibly be good for other skin types. I even tried Cliniques 3 step acne solution kit which reaaaally dried me out. I decided to try the Murad acne complex line and so far i like it. The cleanser feels great..not overdrying. The second step which is the clarifying gel works well but I can't use it everyday..tried that and my face was sooo dry and flaky! I use it like once or twice a week max. The moisturizer that comes with it is really nice. It is oil free and had retinol and sodium hyluronate which is great for your skin (also anti-aging). It's called "skin perfecting lotion". I will definitely re-purchase the cleanser and moisturizer. I think the gel treatment and spot treatments will last me a while. I've been kinda lazy with my blog lately..sorry I didn't post any pics but here's a link to these products.

Foundation Routine
Step 1 (Primer): first of all I start off with my favorite primer (after moisturizing of course): Smashbox Photo Finish. I actually just bought a new one..my first one lasted me six months. The few weeks I went without it...I could really feel a difference in my skin, I just needed to get some more!! Even if I don't wear foundation I still wear this because it acts as a skin treatment too...it has anti-oxidents and peptides!
Step 2 (Foundation): I bought Smashbox's High Definition Healthy Fx Foundation in Light 4 and it's great! It's oil-free and really good for your skin, it has spf 15, and it has sephora's "natural seal" of products that are supposed to be more natural and good for your skin. Now I don't know if you would like this if you require full coverage, but since my skin has been clearing up this is perfect! I "dab" the product on each cheek, my nose, forehead, and chin then I blend it all together with a foundation brush. It even works good with your fingers if you're in a rush. After it's all blended I just put a small amount of Benefits Boing Concealer under my eyes.
Step 3 (Powder): I don't ALWAYS use this step...I'm not usually one for setting my foundation with powder I personally think it CAN make you look kinda chaulky at times...That's what I used to find anyway if I put anything over Studio Fix fluid. With the Smashbox Foundation because it doesn't look or feel heavy at all, I like to set it with a little bit of MAC's MSF Natural in Medium Plus using my 150 brush. Can't say how much I love MAC's MSF Naturals...they are amazing! I even wear it alone sometimes!
That's all for now! What are your favorite face products???
